A mother from England has reportedly been found one day after she fell from the second-floor balcony at an Airbnb and was not found until the next day, during an idyllic vacation turned nightmare.
42-year-old Raina Heverin was found seriously injured in a courtyard by her horrified brother hours after she plunged from the balcony of a room that she was staying in while in Paris, France. The mother of two was staying in Paris for a weekend away, but her life altered for the worse on that day.
Heverin was rushed to a hospital after she was found the next morning. She suffered multiple injuries and remained in a coma in a French hospital for nearly a month, reports Liverpool Echo.
Her husband, Michael, said ‘We think she had some kind of nightmare or sleepwalked, but she fell from the second-floor balcony. She had spent the day shopping and brought a new pair of running sneakers, he further revealed.
He explained: ‘The following morning, when her brother woke up, he went into her room because they had a day of sightseeing planned. She was not in, and he thought she must have gotten up early and gone for a run, which would not have been unusual for her. But then he saw her sneakers by the door.
