One model is going viral on social media after she shared a video on TikTok revealing how her own close friend uninvited her from the wedding because she was ‘too good looking’.
The fashion model who goes by the name Alena explained how her friend was actually the one who picked out her attire for the event which she was scheduled to attend.
But little did she know that she would also be the one to discard her invite and literally uninvite her from the actual wedding day.
“She was the one who actually picked out the dress for me. I couldn’t believe that rescinded my invite for the wedding on the basis that I looked too good, actually fabulous,” Alena mentioned.
The fashion model didn’t appear to stay quiet on the matter and that’s when she began to share her rant on the platform of TikTok, where the video became a popular feature for many who couldn’t believe the bride’s audacity. The video came with the following caption:
“My close friend uninvited me to her wedding because she thought I appeared too good in the dress that SHE chose for me.”
The video has now been viewed by nearly 5.8 million individuals and at the same time, it has also gotten 1.6 million likes after its release.
As you can probably imagine, many had trouble understanding the friendship or bond the two girls shared as it was definitely something too petty to be true.
One person wrote, ‘She is the one who chose that dress so she should also have been the one to change the attire instead of just uninviting you.’
In the same way, another wrote that a true friend would have wanted you to appear fabulous on her big day. “If she was secure and confident, she would surely not have felt intimidated at her own big event,” added another.
