Tragic reports are speaking about a 4-year-old boy who was found dead inside a chest, just days after his parents reported him missing in Utah.
According to reports from local media outlets, the child had suffocated to his death inside the toy chest at his own home.
Kache Wallis’ grandmother shared with the Hurricane Police how she tucked him into his bed the night before, and he was perfectly alright.
But the next morning, she came to check up on him, and he was not there. The family searched the home and when they couldn’t find him, they contacted the cops for assistance when they could not locate little Kache.
After looking outside the residence and finding nothing, the officers decided to take a good look inside the residence.
The Detectives later found the child inside the small toy chest in his bedroom. He was lifeless, and his cause of death was declared as positional asphyxiation as per the Utah Medical Examiner’s Office. Investigators are now ruling his death as an accident with no signs of foul play.
