BREAKING: No Miracles Expected For WNBA Superstar Brittney Griner At Today’s Court Appeal Hearing


WNBA superstar Brittney Griner is not expecting any type of miracle to take place at today’s court appeal hearing.

The famous sportswoman is eagerly anticipating the ordeal and is said to be very nervous about the results. But as far as miracles are concerned, she’s not even thinking about it.

Currently, she is all set to face a 9-year-long Russian jail sentence for having cannabis oil found inside her luggage, despite the fact that she was traveling to Russia where it’s reportedly banned.

But the celeb says it was a mistake and she had zero intentions of doing something like that. Moreover, she added that it was her medical experts who told her to carry it because of her current injury.

On February 17, the world saw the famous two-time gold medalist Olympian be sent behind bars for carrying vape cartridges that featured cannabis oil inside of them.

She was sentenced on August 4 to nine years inside the jail in what was described by the judge as a penal colony of charges linked to the possession and smuggling of drugs.

Now, her lawyers were appealing the charges. And the NBA superstar says she’s anxious for the results but is not expecting any form of miracle to occur.

The player will reportedly take part through a video link from the detention center where she is currently being held.

They are expecting a verdict to arise soon which has made her and her whole team so nervous. They do hope the courts hear more about what they have to say and then reduce the term of the jail sentence approved.

So as you can see, the decision could or could not reduce the 9-year-long sentence but that is not making Brittney hopeful of any form of a miracle.

At the trial that took place, she admitted to the mistake but said it was an honest error and had nothing to do with breaking the law.
