President Trump’s administration and Ukraine are signing on to a very controversial and much debated minerals deal.
The news comes after the disaster witnessed last week at the Oval Office, which transformed into a shouting match between Zelensky and Trump with Vance.
The news also comes after Trump shared that he was pausing military aid to Ukraine, leaving Western NATO allies stunned by the decision.
Trump also explained to advisers that he wanted to announce the agreement in the address to the Congress on Tuesday evening.
He was very confident that this deal is just what both nations needed to better their relationship.
The White House didn’t immediately reply to any requests made for a comment on the matter. The presidential administration in Kyiv is yet to confirm or deny the claims made by insiders regarding the details of this deal, but it’s said to be huge. Trump may soon announce the deal to the Congress.
Zelenskyy reportedly sent out a letter to Trump to thank him for his efforts and also mentioned that he was in favor of a truce in the war with Russia, meaning both land and air strikes would stop. If Russia would agree, he was ready to make this deal and looked forward to working with the US.
