Barack and Michelle Obama’s former summer home, Martha’s Vineyard, is now up for sale for a staggering price tag of $39 million amid ongoing rumors about the marriage being on the rocks.
The Obamas retreated to the sprawling 30-acre waterfront mansion that’s called Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark for several summers before buying their own residence on the Massachusetts island in the year 2020.
As per a report from the Wall Street Journal, the MGS Group Real Estate’s Maggie Gold Seelig and Corcoran Property Advisors’ Brian Dougherty are listing the mansion on behalf of the owner, who is Norman Foster and his family.
Blue Heron Farm’s main residence spans a whopping 7000 square feet. The property additionally entails a five-bedroom guest home. Additionally, there’s a main living space and a guest house, and the property is also said to entail a barn, a boat home, and courts for tennis and basketball.
Foster, who is an architect, ended up remodeling the residence and designing the pool and pool house. The Obamas first rented the residence in the year 2009 and enjoyed it so much that they returned the following two summers.
News of the former first couple’s beloved vacation home going up for sale comes as Michelle dismissed divorce rumors on her podcast.
