BREAKING: Meta’s Middle Manager Says The Company’s New Layoff May See Him Get FIRED After He Made Thousands Of Dollars


Leading tech giant Meta is turning heads after it was revealed that it would soon be making another round of layoffs.

The company is seeking to reduce its workforce greater by nearly 10,00 more workers. And as you can imagine, the firing spree is definitely one that’s getting great criticism across the bat.

The middle manager at Facebook’s parent firm says he makes $550,000 a year. But now, he’s taking to his account on social media to rant about a few things that have really baffled plenty of individuals.

He has been working hard to attain the $1 million total annual compensation by the year 2026. While he chose to keep his identity anonymous, he mentioned the news and his concerns through a post on the Blind platform.

He captioned the post that is now going viral with ‘angry/worried that it’s all going to be taken away from me’ and he says it’s not fair as he’s fought really hard in his life to attain a position that not many can even begin to imagine.

“It can all be taken away from me this month. It’s not fair how Meta just chooses to fire people in such bulk amounts”- she continued.

He chose to dub himself as ‘sadluck’ and is now thanking Meta for not being there for him when he really needed them to be there.

Earning $550,000 a year is clearly no joke. It’s a huge deal and the thought of getting fired is making people upset with this middle manager being one of them.

What is really bothering so many people is how the layoffs keep coming and targeting those outlined as ‘tier 1’ positions is daunting. The middle manager even added how he turned down so many offers where he was getting paid $750,000 a year from other tech firms like Google, just so he could be a part of Meta. And now this behavior makes him realize that it was just not worth it.
