The news comes after the host for the Today Extra show, Sylvia Jeffreys, defended both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for having the courage to face the crowds next to William and Kate.

She also added that the whole situation was extremely dangerous and alarming, and it was one that not anyone would want to be in. Yet, Harry and Meghan chose to pull up their socks, put on a brave face, and walk about, meeting and greeting people and the press as if nothing had happened.

A lot of credit is being given to Meghan for bravely handling all types of crowds standing in line. And as can be seen in the footage and images, not many like her presence.

She was met with stony faces and some who refused even to make eye contact, yet, she brutally took it on like a true trooper, the host went on to add.

“I just can’t help but think that it would have been a really threatening environment for Harry and Meghan. It’s just daunting, to say the least, and they were left in the middle to deal with it,”- she continued.

The 36-year-old television host put up a united front with the two royal members and said they never get enough credit for anything they do.

She even stated that it takes a lot of guts to behave the way Meghan Markle did, explaining how Harry should be commended for holding her hand along the way and siding with her during this difficult time.

But many failed to agree with what the host was saying. According to them, Meghan Markle was never forced to attend. The royal family was gracious enough to accept her and allow her to join the Prince and Princess of Wales for all of the important events at the Palace.
