Royal experts have since spoken out and suggested that Prince Harry appeared uncomfortable and stressed at the 50-minute ceremony during which he and Meghan were placed in the second row more than twenty feet away from high-ranking royals such as Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate, and Camilla.

During the ceremony, which marked the couple’s only public appearance during four days’ worth of jubilee celebrations, eagle-eyed viewers spotted Meghan facing her husband in a presumed attempt to reassure him that everything would be okay.

“Yeah, will be fine,” Meghan reportedly said.

The news comes after speculations that Prince Harry would be left fuming over the way he and his family were treated during their return to the UK.

“Those four days will haunt Prince Harry for the rest of his life. They [Harry and Meghan] were relegated to sitting behind the Duke of Gloucester [at the Thanksgiving service],” royal biographer Duncan Larcombe said.

“They didn’t take part in any way, shape or form visibly at the Trooping of the Color… [Harry] will be fuming about the way he and his family were treated – if it was Prince William and the Royal Family who said, ‘you’re not coming to the royal box’, whilst other minor non-working Royals were at those events.”

Meanwhile, royal biographer Ingrid Seward spoke to Fabulous and suggested the seating arrangements were carefully made in the months leading to the celebrations.

“The excuse was that as they are no longer working members, they were to take a literal back seat,” Seward revealed.

“The reality is the Palace were determined there would be no photographs that might reveal any animosity between the brothers.

“Becoming a ‘second row royal’ is difficult for Harry to swallow.”
