EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Daughter Lilibet Christened In An Intimate Gathering In California


Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s little daughter Lilibet has reportedly been christened in an intimate gathering today in California.

Interestingly, no other family member from the Royal family was witnessed at the event, as confirmed by local media outlets today.

As they are the respective grandkids of the monarch, both Archie and Lilibet would be bestowed with HRH from today onwards. And it’s interesting how Lilibet has never been given the title of princess and now referring to the little one with this title is something royal fans are loving at this moment in time.

Sources also went on to mention how little Archie would be referred to as a Prince in all formal setups too.

The news was declared by the Palace today regarding the HRH titles after it was mentioned how little Lilibet was christened today. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held the christening for their 21-month-old daughter last week on Friday.

This took place during a small and very intimate ceremony at the couple’s home in California. But the striking part was how no other member of the royal family could be witnessed at the event.

Meanwhile, as per one source, the couple did actually extend an olive branch to the Palace and all members of the senior royals about the event of the christening of their young daughter.

Unfortunately, it was turned down by King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate.

The palace released a statement today that mentioned how the royal website would be updated soon in regards to these changes outlined.

“The children’s titles have been a birthright ever since their grandad became a monarch. Therefore, it was inevitable that they would receive the titles”- a spokesperson for the Palace concluded.

Right after the ceremony, attendees could be witnessed enjoying an afternoon of food and dancing and it all appeared to be a very merry event.
