The Duchess of Sussex found herself covered by a giant candle and one of the tallest members of the Royal Family, leaving TV viewers struggling to see her.
Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry seated behind Prince Anne’s husband, Tim Laurence.
There is also a huge church candle standing between the Duchess and the TV cameras.
After appearing in interviews in recent months, the Duchess of Sussex has praised the late monarch and revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that the beloved Queen had always shown her kindness.
“The Queen has always been wonderful to me,” Meghan said.
“I just really loved being in her company… she’s always been warm and inviting and really welcoming.”
During the state funeral, the mother-of-two was seen wiping her tears away as the Queen’s coffin was taken from the Abbey.
Meghan wore a black cape dress by Stella McCartney and matched it with a pair of diamond and pearl earrings given to her by the Queen shortly after she tied the knot with Prince Harry.
According to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex’s sophisticated dress has a special meaning.
Meghan wore a navy blue version of the dress to a concert celebrating the late monarch’s 92nd birthday in April 2018. She also decided to wear the same style in black to say her final farewell to the late monarch.
Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, has been viewed as Her Majesty’s favorite daughter-in-law. She was seen wiping her tears as she left the funeral at Westminster Abbey with other members of the Royal Family.
She had accompanied her husband, Prince Edward, and their two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, to the emotional service.
