In what is being called out as the strongest sign to date regarding Prince Harry and King Charles reaching out for an olive branch, senior aides from both sides were seen holding a quiet meeting in London last week.
It was an apparent olive branch after years of being in a state of estrangement.
The chief of communications for the Duke of Sussex has confirmed that they flew in from Montecito and was even pictured during the meeting that was held with the communications secretary of King Charles.
Also present amongst them were Liam Maguire who is known for overseeing the UK press affairs for Hary and Meghan. She was also first to report about the behind the scenes gathering which took place.
The very informal talks were held at the Royal Over Seas League where a private members’ club just minutes from the Clarence House shared how there was no formal agenda on display but it was definitely a rare opportunity for both sides to open a channel of communication for the first time in so many years.
Some things needed to be communicated by both sides and they wished to discuss them.
This is the first time that we’ve seen major action take place on this front from both sides. Harry has reportedly been reaching out to his father for a while now, and he’s said to be given no response, leaving him in a distressed state.
