The war between Russia and Ukraine has come under major scrutiny recently.
Russia has just confirmed today that it was bombarded in the biggest Ukrainian drone attack, since the war began.
As per officials from Moscow, the incident arose on the same day that crunch talks were set to begin between Kyiv and the US.
Russia’s Defense Military shared more details, including how their air defense system was able to shoot down 337 Ukrainian drones over 10 different Russian regions, overnight.
This is a record high figure as Ukraine is all set to hit back at several brutal attacks launched by Moscow today.
At least one civilian from Russia was killed and several others were injured in the attack. Dramatic footage showed fires raging from the expanding drones, including a high-rise residence complex in Moscow.
The fact that the attack’s timing is the same day that the Ukrainian delegation is all set to meet with the US top diplomat Marco Rubio in Saudi Arabia says a lot about ending the three-year war with Russia.
Zelensky is already in Jeddah and is said to be in talks with the Saudi Crown Prince yesterday. He will not be staying for today’s meeting, which marks a new diplomatic push after the Ukrainian leader’s explosive row between him and Trump last week.
