A Delta Airline flight passenger who survived the horror crash is now breaking his silence on the massive chaos that arose when his plane flipped upside down.
The incident arose on the runway at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
John Nelson is one of the 80 people who miraculously survived the disaster aboard Delta Flight 4819 which left 18 people injured.
Speaking to media outlet CNN, Nelson mentioned how the runways at the Canadian airport were in a bizarre state. He said the flight was a usual one but the winds were super gusty and the snow blew over the runways a lot.
He also shared how hitting down on the runway was harder than anticipated and the left side of the wing had a mega fireball explosion. This is the moment he knew that something was not quite right.
Then the plane went belly up and all the passengers were literally hanging upside down like bats.
While he said that everyone was okay, it was terror all around and many wondered if they were going to get out alive. When they got off, they were able to see daylight and many felt it was like a second chance at life. But shortly afterward, another explosion occurred.
