Think along the lines of being adopted at birth, finding the love of your life at college, and then getting married. It all sounds picture-perfect but what if we told you that it’s far from that?

Yes, this woman explained how she was in a complete state of dilemma and denial when it was mentioned that her husband was actually her brother and she had no idea.

Being genetically related is one thing but being your brother has left her in tatters and now she’s confused as to what she should do.

Speaking anonymously on the online platform Reddit, the story managed to capture a lot of people’s attention for obvious reasons.

It just was baffling to some as she claims that she was adopted at birth. Hence, she never met or saw her real family throughout her lifetime. She does not even know what they look like, let alone where they live, she further explained.

But a recent twist of fate has made her realize that perhaps this relationship was never meant to be.

However, the couple shares a great bond and they claim it’s going to be super sad to say goodbye to one another.

Therefore, they’re asking netizens what they should do and if society would accept them for still being married, despite being siblings and not knowing until after the marriage.

Most people said that the adopted family is her real family and she shouldn’t be worried about genetic tests that happen years later. But others felt that this finding would affect their bond big time so they might be considering parting ways.

Keep your mouth shut about your business. Stay together if your happy. Don’t have kids unless you use another women’s eggs or just adopt
