Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his partner Betsy Arakawa were reportedly found dead at their residence with their pet dog.
Local media outlets shared more on the matter, including how the news was confirmed by authorities in New Mexico.
The pet dog was also dead under mysterious circumstances at the property, and now we can confirm that the incident did occur yesterday during the afternoon hours.
The cops are not revealing too much as they shared how it was an active investigation and they don’t think there is any foul play at work right now.
The Santa Fe Sheriff’s office did share how the cause of death needs some time before it can be shared, as nothing is making sense as to how all of this happened.
They hoped to get more updates on the preliminary investigation soon, and were waiting for approval of the search warrant.
Hackman was 95 years old at the time of his death while his wife was 63.
Deputies reportedly discovered the remains of the male, female, and the dog but they were still waiting for a positive identification as per law enforcement officials, who needed a search warrant.
