Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel shared on Wednesday that he would love to have President Donald Trump on his show after his late-night program returned from a suspension.
Bloomberg reporter Lucas Shaw asked Kimmel at the Bloomberg Screentime event whether he had invited Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr or Trump to show up on his show since returning from suspension.
Kimmel mentioned that he was not interested in having Carr on and threatened action against Kimmel after the late-night show host made remarks about Charlie Kirk’s alleged shooter.
Kimmel added how he would adore to have Trump on the show and even mentioned that he was serious and would be the one to personally ask him. The thought of that happening has fans going absolutely crazy.
The White House did not respond to that immediately, nor did they return any request on that front just yet. Kimmel’s show was briefly suspended after the remarks he made about the suspect in the shooting of Kirk.
During his conversation with Shaw, Kimmel mentioned that his comments were intentionally and maliciously mischaracterized. Kimmel also revealed more about the conversations he had at the time with Disney CEO Bob Iger and Disney Entertainment Co-Chair Dana Walden were certainly positive.
