Family planning is never an easy task and this next ordeal regarding a couple’s mission to only have sons and no daughters are sparking a leading debate online.
Speaking to an internet forum, a woman says her college-educated brother has opted to make a pact with his wife regarding ‘boys only’ and that means they’re only going to entertain the idea of having a boy in their lives.
But the man’s sister feels this pact is not only ridiculous and baseless, but it’s also quite biased too against females.
She says that it’s almost quite like favoring one gender against the other. And there is something really wrong with the behavior. “Who makes that sort of a fake pact? There is always a 50% chance that you can have a girl. This couple needs to have some sense knocked into them!”- he continued.
The couple is at that stage where they are trying to conceive. And the fact that they’ve already announced to friends and loved ones how they were only keen on having sons is just absurd.
“By making your wife verbally agree on something like this does not mean it’s the reality. My delusional brother actually thinks he is only having a boy because he made his wife agree to his demands!”- the sister explained while blasting her own sibling online.
As you can imagine, the news did not get much love online. People asked what would the couple do if they had a girl.
Others said it was a stupid move because that was just adding tons of pressure on his wife who is trying to get pregnant. And if they find out that they’re having a girl, that would not go well.
“It’s a practice that needs to be shunned for obvious reasons. How can anyone even think about making a pact regarding the gender of their baby!”- mentioned another and just like that, the long list of comments couldn’t stop.
