Makeup mogul Kylie Jenner is facing major backlash after posting and then deleting her controversial story about the ongoing war.
Jenner raised her voice in favor of Israel after the deadly Hamas attacks took center stage and left hundreds dead. Moreover, the top reality star also shared a post from a leading Israeli-based account called Stand With Us through her Instagram. And that led to a massive rift among individuals.
She mentioned in bold terms how she will always stand with the people of the country, now and always with an image of the country’s flag by its side. Moreover, she further gave her fans the option to SHARE the post if they felt the same way, calling it one of the most frightening situations in so many years.
26-year-old Kylie Jenner just got rid of the same post, one hour later after her comments section was full of images featuring flags from Palestine as there were calls for individuals to unfollow her.
But even her attempt to remove that post had a plethora of negative comments coming her way on X as well as Instagram. People called the star ignorant and mentioned how she was too naive to understand the true meaning of politics and hence should therefore not get into a debate that she’s got zero knowledge and understanding about.
“She has no idea about what’s going on between the two nations. Therefore, all celebs should refrain from taking sides and opt to make peace through their platforms by condemning the action”- the majority went on to add.
Another third person argued that Kylie is just making matters worse for herself and those who follow her. She should stop this immediately and just avoid entering a domain that she doesn’t really know much about.
