Johnny Depp fans cannot keep calm as the actor has reportedly taken on a mega-deal as his comeback to the famous ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise.

According to local media reports, the deal comprises $301 million and will see Depp’s return in the leading role of Captain Jack Sparrow and many are now sharing the famous line from the movie: “This is the day that you’ll all remember as the day you almost canceled Captain Jack Sparrow!”

While the speculations have been running at an all-time high, ever since the verdict declared Amber Heard guilty of defaming the star, many were still waiting on an authentic confirmation that appears to have finally arrived.

The celeb was dumped by Disney in the year 2018 after Amber Heard’s op-ed took the center stage where she called herself a victim of domestic abuse. And while she didn’t specifically take the actor’s name, it was quite obvious to many to whom she was pointing fingers to.

The big bombshell news was dropped by one close source of Disney who mentioned the news during a recent interview with leading Australian media outlet Poptopic.

Depp was known to star as Captain Jack Sparrow in a staggering five films from the series but he was reportedly dropped out from the final movie of the series, leaving his fans and followers shocked and saddened.

But now, it appears that is all going to change because the celeb is well on his way to a major comeback, explained reports.

The rumored source added to Poptopic how keen Disney is to patch up the relationship between them and Depp. It is also believed that Disney had approached the celeb before the trial even began, asking about his interest in another one of the Pirates films.
