Hillary Clinton seems to be switching sides after a shocking comment was made today.
The former First Lady says she’s more than happy and willing to nominate US President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize if he manages to bring peace in Ukraine.
The news comes as Trump and Putin carry out a high profile meeting in Alaska where many do hope for positive outcomes.
The fact that Hillary made these statements is major news, considering she considers Trump her rival.
‘Honestly, if he can bring about the end of this terrible war, then he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin, something we have yet to see’- she shared.
But she’s hopeful for the ongoing meeting between both leaders, adding that this is a great opportunity if Trump manages to do it.
‘I would nominate himself. This is something tha the world is looking forward to, a war between Ukraine and Russia is much needed’ she shared.
Critics don’t expect too much from the meeting between the duo, adding that land exchange was not the right answer, which Trump suggested could be a potential solution.
