Madonna has shown off her ageless beauty in a series of snaps from her Celebration Tour.
In the viral photos, the 65-year-old Queen of Pop sucked seductively on sour strip candies while sitting in a chair and getting her makeup done.
Appearing decades younger than she is, the Like a Virgin hitmaker put on display her pouty lips while rocking her blonde tresses over her shoulder.
And though the behind-the-scenes photos come from the North American leg of her World Celebration Tour, the snaps are reminiscent of her iconic Sticky & Sweet Tour that took place back in 2008 and 2009.
Madonna’s tour is now in full motion after the singer was hospitalized over a life-threatening emergency back in June last year.
“I was in the hospital. I was in the ICU. My lungs weren’t working, I wasn’t breathing on my own,” she revealed during her Paris concert back in November.
“My kidneys were failing. I was infected with some bacteria that nobody knows about. And there is a 40% mortality rate.”
She added: “When I woke up I saw all my children around me and I thought this is what will save me. My children will save me. It’s not me who saved them.”
Recalling her grueling recovery, Madonna went on to say that she didn’t know if she would ever feel better even two weeks after coming from the hospital. She also revealed she was hooked to oxygen and barely had the strength to get out of her bed to go to the bathroom.
“I didn’t have the strength. I had no energy, it was taken from me. So the two weeks went by and I still had barely any energy. I could drink espressos, four Red Bulls. Nothing woke me up. I had no life force,” she said.
Despite the grave situation she found herself in, the singer managed to recover and kick off her world tour with a minimal delay.
