A four-year-old boy who was famous for his love of giving hugs was recently found dead inside a hot car.
According to reports from local media outlets, the incident arose during a hot afternoon in Georgia, leaving his loved ones shocked and traumatized.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed that it’s now looking into the matter related to the death of Kameron Jamel Williams, whose remains were found last Sunday at the Summer Trace Apartment Complex in Metter.
Temperatures were seen soaring to new highs that day, with the maximum reaching 91 degrees Fahrenheit at the time.
As per the Metter Police Department, officers shared how they responded to a distress call for assistance at about 1 pm regarding regards to a missing child.
Family members and police desperately searched for that property, hoping to find Kameron safe.
Instead, one of the boy’s relatives made the heartbreaking discovery inside the parked car, where the boy had succumbed to the punishing heat.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Investigators feel Kameron had left his home on his own and started to play nearby.
Security video showed the child matching Kameron’s description entering the vehicle and never getting back out. The Candler County coroner later confirmed the worst, including how the boy was beyond help at the time that he was found.
