White Lotus Star Lisa is raising eyebrows with her appearance at this year’s Met Gala, and it’s all thanks to her selection of attire for the biggest night in fashion.
The star featured without any pants and instead wore a pair of panties that featured the picture of civil rights activist Rosa Parks on her lace undies that people had trouble looking over.
The theme was exploring the black dandyism from the 18th century to the revival during the Harlem Renaissance, and the impact it had on the world of fashion today, with this theme called Superfine: Tailoring black Style.
A list of attendees chose to follow the code of Tailored for You, which was a nod to the world of men’s fashion and suiting seen in the spring exhibit at the Met.
However, the fact that Lisa came pantless and wore a picture of Rosa Parks on her underwear that literally covered her crotch had people talking and fuming.
She chose to accessorize the look with a pair of LV logo-adorned tights and a monogrammed bag. But the embroidery on her underwear is what people took offense to, calling her tone-deaf for not realizing what she was doing.
