Jennifer Lopez suffered a serious blow to her face during rehearsals for the 2025 American Music Awards.

The star appeared like she had fallen on the floor, quite literally, as shocking images took over social media by storm after her blow.

The Let’s Get Loud singer shared through Instagram Stories on Tuesday a series of pictures displaying the gruesome facial wounds she had sustained while practicing for the upcoming show.

JLo chose to caption the image with ‘So this happened!’- and in that selfie, she is seen applying ice to the nose while smiling in a full face of makeup.

A second picture showed the pop star with a nasty gash on the bridge of her nose.

Lopez tried to explain inside that caption of the picture how she attained those injuries during rehearsals, but failed to delineate any specifics about how and when they arose.

Fortunately, the star was able to get immediate medical help for her wound, which was stitched up quickly by a leading facial plastic surgeon.

She thanked her medical team for looking after her and even took a picture with the famous Dr. 90210 from Beverly Hills.
