Blake Lively took a shocking stance after the release of Taylor Swift’s album on Friday, showing support for a person she once referred to as bestie.
The It Ends With Us actress liked the hitmaker’s post regarding her Showgirl album on Instagram, marking the release of her highly anticipated 12th studio album.
‘I cannot tell you how proud I am to share this with you, an album that just feels so right’- Swift shared through a caption published on Thursday evening.
‘A forever thank you goes out to my mentors and friends, Max and Shellback, for assisting me in painting this self-portrait. If you thought the big show was wild, perhaps you need to come and take a look behind the curtain at the Life of a Showgirl as it’s out now!’- the star revealed amid great anticipation from her fans.
Lively’s surprising gesture from her good pals comes amid great speculations that Swift’s track, Ruin the Friendship is about the apparent fallout of her friendship with the star.
This makes things so much awkward, sources revealed, as Lively might be trying to advance an olive branch but with music like this, it might not be how Swift feels.
The former friendship, which saw Lively and Swift frequently stepping out of their comfort zones for high fashion evenings, seemed to have fizzled after Lively’s s*xual harassment case against the ‘It Ends with Us’ co-star Justin Baldoni.
