A Maryland man shot a store clerk over a bottle of iced tea, but that was just the start of his horrendous crimes.

He then chose to lead the police to the body of his pregnant lover, left to rot after he had killed her weeks earlier.

Torrey Moore walked into a convenience store across the street from his White Oak Apartment, placed a bottle of iced tea on the counter, and started to argue with the clerk during the afternoon hours.

He shot the 61-year-old Ayalew Wondimu, then leaned over the counter to shoot him a few more times after he fell to the floor, the cops shared.

Then, Moore walked back across the street to his apartment. There was a responding SWAT team who found the body of his live-in girlfriend, Denise Middleton, under a blanket in an advanced state of decomposition.

Middletone was said to be 8.5 months pregnant with Moore’s child. She had already chosen the name Ezekiel, The Washington Post mentioned.

Surveillance footage showed Moore pushing Middleton into a giant elevator in the building’s lobby. Moore shot her seven times in their shared apartment on that day, and four of those bullets entered her back.

He confessed to his crime and will now be serving a lifelong jail sentence for his crime, the authorities have confirmed.
