Witnessing the birth of a child is the dream and right for every parent but one mother is sharing with the world how she refused to let her man witness the live birth of her son.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to mention that this couple has not had the best of relations after the woman banned her husband from entering the delivery room.
The soon-to-be dad says he is just appalled at his wife’s decision. He is the child’s father and it has always been a dream for him to witness a child’s birth. And now that it’s his time to shine and really make the most of this momentous occasion, he’s being barred from doing so.
“How is this even fair? I have every right to be there. And now she is banning me from the delivery room”- he revealed in his rant to a public online forum.
His wife broke out the news to him while being eight months pregnant. She revealed that he shouldn’t be expecting to see her give birth. But instead, he can stand outside and wish her well while waiting for their little son to be delivered.
The couple has been married for seven years and they share two more children and now this behavior has left the dad livid.
“This is just bizarre and not normal. I deserve a little more respect than just that”- he went on to mention.
And netizens agreed that his wife was so wrong and out of line for denying him this right.
From begging and pleading to try to convince her too, the man says he does not wish to add more pressure and stress to her life as she’s nearing the end of her pregnancy. The excuse her wife gives this time around is that her mother is the chosen one for the delivery room and he’s dumbfounded.
“I don’t want to miss this and I know the baby’s health and her health are most important. But she needs to cut me some slack”- he adds.
