Lindsay Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, have welcomed their first child together.
The excited couple have also revealed their son’s name, Luai – an Arabic name that means ‘protector.’
A representative for the actress confirmed to TMZ that the actress gave birth in Dubai, where the couple currently live.
“The family is over the moon in love,” the representative added.
This came months after Lohan announced her pregnancy, telling TMZ in March that she and Shammas were ‘excited’ about becoming parents.
“We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives,” the Mean Girls star expressed.
She also took to Instagram and shared a photo of a baby onesie with the words ‘Coming soon’ printed on it.
Lohan kept her fans in the loop during her pregnancy by sharing photos of her and her baby bump.
In April, she posted adorable pictures which included images from her baby shower. One of the photos showed the actress beaming at the camera as she cradled her bump.
“Good times. So grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life!”
The couple dated for more than a year before they got engaged in November 2021. They got married in an intimate ceremony in June 2022.
In a 2022 interview with Cosmopolitan, the Freaky Friday Night star described Shammas as an ‘amazing husband.’
Speaking about her support system, Lohan said: “I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person. Just the best. And my family. And I feel like I have a small group of good friends who are just really good people.
“That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones.”
