Lindsay Lohan, 37, and her husband Bader Shammas, 36, have revealed the gender of their first baby as they prepare for parenthood.
In March, the actress opened up about her pregnancy and it was evident that she and her husband cannot wait to meet their little one.
“We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives,” she told TMZ.
Lohan and Shammas have kept their relationship private until they announced their engagement in 2021.
The Mean Girls actress continues to share updates about her pregnancy journey on Instagram, and fans are also excited for the upcoming birth of their baby.
A source close to the couple has revealed the gender of their child and said that Lohan’s pregnancy has been ‘smooth and amazing.’
The expectant mom and dad are also picking baby names, with the source saying that they have a list of monikers suggested by family members.
“Lindsay is traditional and it’s even more exciting because she now has an even greater bond with her husband because their son will carry his last name,” the source said, confirming that the couple are expecting a baby boy.
“She’s ready for motherhood. It’s always been a dream for her. She feels being a mom will make her a better actress, businesswoman, and wife.
“It’s been an emotional journey for her in such a good way. She is so happy about it and conquering moments in her life that she has always wanted. It’s a huge accomplishment and she is so excited about it.”
Jamie Lee Curtis, who played Lohan’s mother in the 2003 film Freaky Friday, wrote: “My friend and film daughter @lindsaylohan is growing up! So thrilled for her. What a mama she will be.”
