Chris Hemsworth has opted to make some serious life changes after he discovered through medical tests that he may be prone to Alzheimer’s disease.
According to reports from local media outlets, the leading Hollywood Hunk got a shocking diagnosis after he took the genetic test on the National Geographic documentary series called Limitless.
The star says life often prepares you for things that you have no clue about but learning more about such a disease early on can really help. Therefore, he plans on making big changes and inspiring others to do the same.
The star was seen getting emotional about how it was a shocker for him to learn about his ailment that he was bound to get, later on. But he saw it as a blessing to allow for early prevention.
“It’s a debilitating disease and no one wants anything to do with it. But finding out early means you can do so much about it”- the actor added.
His test proved that he has two copies of the APOE e4 gene which is linked to the likes of increasing chances of getting the disease.
The star further mentioned how people assume that they are going to live forever but that’s not true. And when you happen to be young, you hardly worry about all of this.
“It has all kind of floored me and helped me put such things into better perspective”- he added.
After the test, the leading A-List star of the industry added how he has become more committed to carrying out exercises and focusing a lot more on things like his brain health.
Moreover, he plans to include more solitude into his life and he’s been very consistent along those lines because if you want to make the change, you’ve got to add the effort.
