Actress Angelina Jolie’s dad is blasting his daughter in the public eye.
Jon Voight slammed his daughter’s posts across social media where she was seen condemning the ongoing war taking place between Israel and Palestine.
The leading Hollywood actress has been very vocal in terms of showing her support for the atrocities conducted by Israel against innocent Palestinians. Moreover, as a leading UN and human rights ambassador, the actress feels the time has come for both sides to stop and think about how many people are being killed senselessly.
She has similarly called for a humanitarian pause and also shared that it’s time Israel stopped for the sake of humanity, especially after innocent children and women were being targeted for no reason.
But Israel refuses to back down, claiming all the terror is being caused by Hamas and how so many hostages were taken by the leading terrorist organizations. And until and unless they are freed, no such possibility of a ceasefire can ensue.
Seeing his daughter’s stance regarding the whole situation, Jon went out and slammed Jolie and told her to open her eyes and stop supporting Hamas. He even slammed her posts on the matter and branded them as huge lies.
Taking to their page on Instagram through a new video, he sat down right in front of the American flag and said that he’s never been more upset with his child than this.
His comments against Jolie have garnered plenty of attention and he’s got nearly 81,000 likes online. Moreover, these come right after his daughter condemned Israel’s latest bombing of Gaza. Therefore, he says that Israel is only trying to protect its soil because this land belongs to them.
“It’s the land of the Jews and there is nothing that can change that”- he continued. But the way he has turned against his daughter and made this all very public has Jolie upset. She did not see this coming and is devastated how her dad is calling her out in front of the world, an insider revealed.
