Gorgeous Lizzo was seen appearing in her best shape this season as she transformed into the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
With Halloween parties in full swing, the star opted for a look that was all out and it comprised a classic Turner wig and a black toned leather dress with plenty of bedazzled fringe effects.
Honoring the legend Tina Turner, she captioned a series of images on Saturday and it had plenty of people talking. And as one can expect, not everyone was happy to see Lizzo choosing a leading pop icon and appeared gorgeous as ever.
While some commended her for taking such a bold step and apeparing amazing as ever, another felt she should perhaps avoid linking herself to such legendary personalities.
“She is no longer in this world, at least have some respect for the late star”- another person added. And just like that, the comments kept on coming in.
Another fan mentioned how Turner who passed away in May at the age of 83 would actually be so proud of her. This was because of how much effort the star put to appear like her.
Lizzo has previously also paid tribute to Turner in the month of May during one of her concerts by giving out an emotional performance for the hit track Proud Mary.
She also opted to mention more in detail about how we’ve all lost a top icon and are yet to allow ourselves to be sad. “I still have not allowed myself to cry. I do not want to right now and that’s linked to the fact that I would much rather celebrate the huge legend that Tina Turner has become”- she mentioned in the end.
The star went on to add how she’s a black girl in a rock band and she wouldn’t exist if it was not for Tina Turner – the legend herself.
Just a few days before posing in her Halloween costume, the leading Grammy award winner’s staffers signed a leading number of declarations that disputed her claims of three dancers from the past that accused the star of body shaming and being racist and harassing them. She futher praised the star for being so inspiring for the world and to love the body that we are given.
