Kelly Clarkson is coming under fire for speaking about Taylor Swift’s latest romance with Travis Kelce.
The star had no idea that she would be bashed so badly for speaking about the duo, adding how the speculations aren’t even true regarding her degrading the couple.
The famous singer and talk show host says she is in shock at how social media continues to slam her for taking the couple’s name, denying saying anything wrong or bad about the pair.
Kelly further mentioned how she only wanted to watch the sport in peace, without having any love-life-related interruptions. But Swift fans were left less than impressed and made it a point to add that her comments were certainly not welcome here.
The famous Since U Been Gone star just mentioned on the Voice how her comments were never made with hate and how she calls the couple one of her own. But the manner in which people have reacted to her words is beyond absurd and uncalled for.
Clarkson says people’s negativity is never amusing and for anyone to think this sort of negative reaction is alright can really be upsetting.
“Just like to give you all a small public service announcement since everyone wants the breaking news on this front. Please do not fall prey to clickbait or trash reporters who have nothing better to do in their lives. All that they happen to be good at is twisting words and facts to attain attention, she mentioned.
She also took this moment to express her support for the star’s latest relationship with the leading player of the Kansas City Cheifs, adding how she finds them adorable as can be and wishes them nothing but well for the future.
