Shocking new surveillance footage shows the gunman who fatally shot Charlie Kirk jumping off the roof and escaping in the moments after opening fire.
In the video, the suspect could be seen running across the roof of the Lossee Center at Utah Valley University. Once he reached the edge, the suspect could then be witnessed climbing down and jumping onto the ground, leaving behind a palm print and a shoe print.
He can then be seen running from the building and starts strolling with the crowd as he casually walks towards a street at the edge of the campus, where cops say he ducked down into the wooded area, from where investigators have found a high-powered rifle.
The suspect then apparently flees into the residential neighborhood, the clip shows. But Beau Mason, who is the head of Utah’s Department of Public Safety, explained how officials had no idea about the suspect’s identity or where he might be present.
Authorities are now asking the public to be on the lookout for that suspect, adding that he was last seen wearing a distinctive t-shirt with a baseball cap that featured a triangle on it. ‘We cannot do our job without the public’s assistance right now,’- the Governor of Utah shared at the news conference.
