President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were seen in great Halloween spirits as they hosted a Halloween-themed event at the White House.

The couple made their way with big smiles and a giant bucket full of candies to treat children who were standing in line to greet them.

The event took place at the south lawn and the decor leaned into autumn themes with carved pumpkins and fall leaves lining up the staircase.

The atmosphere was a very similar version to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Melania wore a beige toned coat over an orange dress while Trump wore his usual suit, red tie, and a USA cap.

Many kids were seen doning the most unique and creative costumes including two that dressed up as Melania and Donald themselves.

The distributed full size candy bars branded with the presidential seal to kids of staff, military families, and adoptive families.

Many kids were dinosaurs and superheroes, and both the President and First Lady enjoyed this to the core, greeting the little ones and parents with pride.

Trump was very amused and kept giving high-fives and posing with the kids, and even handed out candies while soaking in the little smiles of children.

Some online users mocked Melania for taking the lead, which is hardly ever the case. Others felt she might have been paid a little extra to stand by Trump for this long and ensure the cameras got a glimpse of her as the leader of the event. What do you think?
