A deadly incident in the form of a flash fire took place inside a hyperbaric chamber took the life of a physical therapist in Arizona.
The incident arose at the victim’s own wellness clinic, which he had sole ownership of.
According to reports from local media outlets, Dr. Walter Foxcroft, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel who replied to a call about a medical emergency for a burn patient in the 1800 block of Mesquite Avenue in Lake Havasu City as per a recently shared press release shared by the Lake Havasu City Fire Department.
The call came at approximately 10:50 pm local time. As per the release, responders identified smoke throughout the building and an intact hyperbaric chamber that seemed to have included a flash fire inside the chamber with one patient inside.
As per the Health and Hyperbarics page, Foxcroft was the owner, and it was popular amongst his patients who were prescribed therapy based on their condition.
No one else was injured in the tragic fire, and the occupancy was ventilated and checked for any other kind of flammable hazards by the same crew before their departure.
