The roommates, who were a little suspicious at the start that Snelling was hiding a pregnancy, heard the commotion as the 21-year-old student gave birth to a baby boy at about 4 am on August 27 in her off-campus apartment in Lexington, as per court documents attained by Lex18.
Hours after that, the cheerleader allegedly told them that this noise was from her having fallen over, passing out from a routine illness.
The roommate detailed more about snooping in her bedroom and finding a blood-soaked towel on the floor and a plastic bag featuring evidence of childbirth, as per the affidavit. They also found the newborn stuffed in a black plastic bag inside the closet and told the dispatcher that the infant was cold to the touch.
