Kim Kardashian may be the queen of celebrities but the reality star’s dream of being a part of the official party of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee has been rejected.
Officials at Buckingham Palace have denied Kim’s pleas to join the official Platinum Jubilee party despite her best efforts.
According to reports, Kim’s representatives asked for tickets but the palace turned her and her boyfriend Pete Davidson down.
Kim, who landed in the UK with her beau, was determined to go to the official celebrations, a source said to Daily Mail.
The 41-year-old was trying to obtain tickets by other means and even said that she didn’t mind if they were not VIPs.
“Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been quite surprising, especially as she doesn’t visit the UK often,” the source said.
“Kim and Pete love the Royal Family and really wanted to be a part of this special celebration.”
It is unclear if Kim and Pete only went to London for the Jubilee celebrations.
The likes of Nile Rodgers, Diana Ross and Queen will perform at the party, while David Beckham and Sir David Attenborough will make appearances.
Around 10,000 tickets were allocated via a public ballot, and 7,500 were given to charities, Armed Forces, key workers, and volunteers.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement that the Queen ‘greatly enjoyed’ her Trooping parade but she had decided not to attend the service the following day.
Kim and her comedian boyfriend landed in the UK and went shopping in Mayfair. The couple walked hand-in-hand in Dover Street Market before they entered Comme des Garcons Jewellery store.
The reality star was seen checking some jewelries on display as she was helped by a store assistant.
