A young and promising talent in the world of tennis has reportedly been killed in the most tragic circumstances.
18-year-old Bruan Levi was a high school senior known for his great talent and passion for the sport, but little did anyone know that his journey in this world would be so short.
While walking with his friend during the early hours of Sunday morning, he was struck by a driver who was under the influence of alcohol.
Officers reportedly found the suspect and arrested him as 911 rescue crews arrived at the scene and found the body of the victim lying on the street near Manhattan Beach in California following this collision.
Levi died just a few weeks before he was set to graduate from high school and months after his family lost their residence in the wildfires that ravaged the Pacific Palisades region, as shared by The Los Angeles Times.
Levi also played tennis for the Loyola High School Athletics team and had only recently won his 4th league championship. And he was set to study at the University very soon. With graduation on the cards so soon, who knew that day would never come for him?
His friends shared how he was the loving, humble, and kind-hearted individual that they had come across in a long time.
‘He was a true leader throughout our campus’ – his athletics team’s Instagram page shared.
