Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children are now entitled to inherit royal titles after Queen Elizabeth II’s death, royal insiders have confirmed.

Archie and Lilibet are described as being sixth and seventh in line to the throne unless King Charles opposes the decision.

Therefore, both Archie Mountbatten Windsor who is just 3, and his sister Lilibet Mountbatten Windsor who is just 15 months old can now be called a prince and a princess, sources have confirmed.

This rejiggered order of succession for the throne that came into play after the Queen’s death has really shocked many that assumed that since their parents are no longer royals, that means they will not be royals too.

The couple who lives in California was recently seen being offered an olive branch from King Charles yesterday. He wished the couple well and sent out his love and best wishes as they’ve chosen to settle abroad.

The little ones are preceded by their uncle and aunt, Prince William and Princess Kate who have been bestowed the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales yesterday. We also saw King Charles III proclaim yesterday how proud he was to have William as his heir.

The siblings are getting the chance to accept these royal titles under the rules that were first laid out by King George V, who was Queen Elizabeth II’s grandad.

And according to that, all of the grandchildren of the sovereign are given the chance to style themselves with titles of, His and Her Royal Highness, sources explained. And they may also choose to be called prince or princess.

During her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey last year, Meghan Markle mentioned that her little son Archie was denied the honorable title of being a prince. This was before the couple had decided to part ways with the Royal family.
