Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are getting divorced.
The actress has filed for divorce from the country superstar, as confirmed by People Magazine, just one day after news about the pair’s shocking separation took center stage.
As reported by TMZ, Keith had blindsided the celeb, and she didn’t waste a second before thinking twice about her application for divorce.
The pair were married for 19 years after meeting at a gala in Los Angeles the year before, and share daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. A source previously mentioned to People magazine how Kidman did not want this and had been fighting to save this marriage. ‘Nicole’s sister has been a rock, and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another,’ the source shared.
Ahead of the 2024 Met Gala, Kidman added that she overcomes her nerves ahead of the yearly event by having her man with her.
A second source told PEOPLE after the pair’s separation that their separation really has not been a secret and the stars have been living separately for a while now. ‘People close to Keth felt that this split was inevitable,’ the insider mentioned.
