Kevin Spacey was reportedly rushed to the hospital after experiencing heart attack-like symptoms.
The 64-year-old House of Cards star, who was earlier this year cleared on all s*xual assault charges against him, was at the Tashkent International Film Festival in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, when his left arm suddenly went numb “for about eight seconds.”
Following the numbness in his limb, the actor was rushed to the Innova Diagnostic Clinic where he underwent a series of tests including an MRI before being the all-clear by his doctors.
He later returned to the film festival and told the audience that the health scare made him think about “how fragile life is.”
“I was looking at these extraordinary murals on the walls and I suddenly felt my entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds,” he said.
“I shook it off, but I immediately told the people I was with and we went immediately to the medical center.”
The actor went on to say that he’s feeling “grateful” that “everything turned out to be completely normal” and that nothing “more serious” was at work.
“Human life is very fragile and short, so everyone should live together and support each other,” he added as he paid tribute to the “qualified doctors” who looked after him.
Elsewhere in his speech, Spacey gushed over the film festival and branded it as a place of “peace, progress, and enlightenment.”
“The workshops that have taken place have allowed professionals to help young aspiring filmmakers learn and grow. I know how incredibly important this is because I myself grew up in programs like this when I first discovered film,” he said.
“It’s extraordinary that the Central Asian region is coming together, working together, and giving this opportunity to so many people. You should be proud of the work that you’re doing, and I’m honored to stand here with you today and support you.”
