Kelly Osbourne has revealed she is expecting her first child.
The English actress and fashion designer took her fans by surprise as she announced that her boyfriend Sid Wilson and she are expecting a baby.
Along with the happy announcement, the 37-year-old also shared a series of pictures featuring her ultrasound photos.
“I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!” Kelly wrote on Instagram.
Kelly and Sid first met back in 1999 when the rapper, DJ, and Slipknot turntablist was at the Ozzfest annual music festival.
Their relationship, however, only turned romantic this year when Osbourne dubbed Wilson her soulmate and said she was deeply in love with him.
“After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson,” the actress wrote on Valentine’s Day.
As People magazine has confirmed, the couple is now expecting their first child.
“They have remained friends since [first meeting]. They are very happy together,” a source told the publication earlier this year.
Osbourne previously opened up about her desire to become a mother as she admitted struggles with addiction had robbed her of years of her life.
“I feel very behind. As a woman, I would have loved to be married and have children by now. My brother [Jack] has three daughters and I would have loved to have kids by now, but that wasn’t what was in the cards for me yet,” she said on Red Table Talk in June 2021.
“I would have been no kind of mother at all. Because I was that crazy addict that was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’ll stop doing drugs when I get pregnant because I have to.’ Like, that’s insane that I would ever even think that.”
While Kelly admitted suffering a relapse the same year, she proudly announced she was sober for 5 months on her 37th birthday in October 2021.
