Milkshake singer Kelis is reportedly in a relationship with actor and comedian Bill Murray.

The 43-year-old American singer-songwriter and chef, who is best known for her hit song Milkshake, is dating the 72-year-old funnyman and Hollywood actor, sources confirmed.

The news comes a year after Kelis’ husband, Mike Mora, died at the age of 37 after a battle with stomach cancer.

According to The Sun, the pair had been “getting close for a while” with the Ghostbusters star supporting his girlfriend by appearing at her recent shows.

“They met up in the States before, which got people in the industry talking, and now are meeting up in London while they’re both here,” the insider claimed.

“They’ve clearly hit it off. They were both seen at the same hotel, and he’s been to watch her perform several times before he went to Mighty Hoopla.”

The dating comes a year after Kelis lost her husband and two years after the sudden and unexpected death of Murray’s ex-wife, Jennifer Butler, whom he split from back in 2008.

While the couple has yet to officially confirm the dating rumors, sources believe it is clear the pair are set on dating each other despite their obvious age gap.

“Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap,” the source added.

Kelis is a mother of three who welcomed her first child with ex-husband Nas in 2009. After meeting Mora, Kelis went on to welcome two more children including Shepherd, 8, and Galilee, 2.

As for Murray, he welcomed his first two sons with his first wife, Margaret Kelly, whom he was married to between 1981 and 1996. He later welcomed four more sons with his second wife, Jennifer Butler, before the couple split in 2008.
