Keanu Reeves was not getting much love from his fans when he opted to lean for a passionate kiss with his lover on the red carpet for a leading event.
Many couldn’t help but call the star out for kissing with his eyes open again, an act that he’s become quite infamous for over the past few years.
While the star has confessed his love for his partner on several occasions, many can’t help but wonder why he opts to kiss her in this very unromantic manner that makes it seem like it’s forced or perhaps he’s uninterested in doing the romantic act.
Reeves and Alexandra Grant seemed to be very happy over the past weekend as they were spotted for their rare red carpet-appearance together. Both of them looked beautiful in their attire and the kiss from afar seemed to be the perfect touch. But eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but notice what was on display here, calling the actor out.
“How hard can it be for a Hollywood actor to kiss his lover? Come one Keanu, get a grip on it. This is basic!”- explained one fan and many couldn’t help but agree.
We’ve had numerous instances in the past where the star was seen doing the same. Even then, he was slammed by upset fans who requested him to add a little more effort to make it appear like he was interested.
