Keanu Reeves was pictured holding hands with his girlfriend Alexandra Grant as the pair walked down the red carpet at the 2022 MOCA gala.
Attending the star-studded annual gala which took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the Matrix Resurrections star looked dapper in a black suit and a tie while holding hands with Alexandra Grant who donned a red dress for the occasion.
The couple, who went public with their relationship back in late 2019, looked radiant as they repeatedly exchanged smiles while posing for photos on the red carpet.
While the 57-year-old actor hadn’t been in a serious relationship for decades until he met the now-49-year-old visual artist, the couple confirmed dating rumors by appearing at Gucci’s LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles, California, in 2019.
During their first public event as a couple, Keanu held on tight to his girlfriend as they posed in front of the photographers.
Later, in 2020, a friend of Grant revealed that the couple has been dating longer than we all suspected.
“I remember a couple of years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Grant] said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend,’ and I’m like, ‘Wait. What? What? What?’” actress Jennifer Tilly told Page Six.
In March 2020, Grant also opened up about her romance with the Hollywood actor as she carefully dodged questions about a potential marriage.
“Over a glass of wine … I would love to tell you,” Grant told Vogue when asked if there was a possibility she and Keanu would tie the knot.
“Love at every level is deeply important to my identity. How’s that for dodging the question? I do not believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships.”
Later on, in December 2020, Reeves also spoke out about love in general as he appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“I’m not a fighter, I’m a lover,” Barrymore said during their chat. Responding, the actor expressed: “No, no, because if you’re a lover, you gotta be a fighter … Because if you don’t fight for your love, what kind of love do you have.”
