Kanye West has been temporarily suspended from Instagram after his repeated attacks on ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new beau Pete Davidson.
Amid his bitter feud with the KUWTK star and the SNL host, Ye repeatedly blasted the couple and went as far as making subtle threats to his ex-wife’s new boyfriend.
Now, the ‘Gold Digger’ hitmaker got slapped with a 24-hour suspension on Instagram. While suspended, Ye will not be able to post new content or comment on existing posts. His direct messaging feature was also disabled.
Meanwhile, however, users can still access the rapper’s profile and comment on his posts.
As a Meta spokesperson has since confirmed according to TMZ, the rapper’s account was suspended following a violation of policies on harassment, hate speech, and bullying.
Should these violations continue after the rapper’s access to his account is restored, further disciplinary actions may follow.
Instagram has taken action against Ye shortly after he posted a shocking mockup showing Pete Davidson getting buried alive and shortly after accusing his ex-wife’s new beau of being a predator and claiming he had a mental breakdown.
“Oh and nobody noticed that he ain’t show up to SNL Because Mr. I can help you with meds had a mental breakdown after we ran him off the internet SKETE you not built for this I already blacked the Super Bowl out on you Apologize to your family for being in your family,” Ye wrote in one of his latest posts.
In another, he accused the SNL star of being a drug addict saying: “I’m really concerned that SKETE will get my kids mom hooked on drugs. He’s in rehab every 2 months.”
