Superstar actress Angelina Jolie is leaving plenty of people in shock after she slammed the judge who was handling her custody battle case.
The celeb felt the judge was not behaving in a correct manner and that all of his behavior was depicted as a sort of bias that went in favor of her former husband and the father of her kids, Brad Pitt.
The actress is therefore urging the governor of California to intervene as she feels it’s high time someone did something to better the situation of the country.
To be more specific, she blasted the judicial system and said it was about time that such professionals in leading positions were given domestic violence training so they could use it effectively in the courtroom.
A two-page letter that was dated September 29 had the actress urge Governor Gavin Newsom to back the famous Piqui’s Law. This is because such a bill would prevent kids from entering reunification camps that force them to live with abusive parents.
Similarly, it would establish domestic violence programs that could give the right kind of training and therefore positively impact the growing number of cases linked to abuse as well as trauma.
Meanwhile, another source who happens to be close to the celeb added how the actress is not happy with the way things are going down in her battle and she hopes that more can be done before it’s too late.
The star wants to push forward for the legislation after her poor experience with Judge John Ouderkirk who didn’t let her kids testify about domestic violence which she claims they suffered at the hands of their father.
