Liverpool superstar Diogo Jota was seen driving way in excess of the speed limit when he rammed his Lamborghini, during which both he and his brother were killed.
The tragedy has left many unanswered questions, as the wreckage proved that it was possible for anyone to make it out alive from such a tragic incident.
Sources are speaking about how the star may have been speeding during his route, in an attempt to catch his ferry.
The police and detecting were carrying out a joint investigation on the matter, and they claimed that by looking at the tread marks left on the road by the green sports car belonging to the superstar player, it was evident that the cause of the smash was overspeeding.
The reports are in direct conflict with those released by an eyewitness who happened to be a truck driver.
They shared how the star was driving at normal speed and therefore were not sure why the vehicle crashed in the first place.
Another source shared how the road where the two brothers were driving was not in the best of condition and was full of potholes.
Another similar accident had taken the life of another driver in the past, sources shared.
Tests were conducted to suggest how the Lamborghini was above the speed limit and was said to be nearly 12okmh when it careered off the road in Northern Spain last week.
The news comes after many called for justice and answers to the star’s sudden death. He had recently gotten married and was so happy, ready to move on to the next chapter of his life. But destiny had other plans, sources shared.
